In the comparison charts the following assumptions has been made:
- Power consumption for Conventional Plants without energy recovery systems calculated as
7.0 kWh/m³ (26.5 kWh/k-Gal) - Power consumption for HOH Energy Efficient Plants using the pressure exchanger calculated
as 2.8 kWh/m³ (10.6 kWh/k-Gal) - The price for energy efficient plants is calculated 25% higher than the prices for conventional
plants.
